What is Therapy?
Therapy is fundamentally a collaboration between an expert and a guide. You are the expert of your experience, what you have been through in your life, what your issues or problems are and how they are affecting you. You let me know about what you are dissatisfied with in your life and what you would like to grow into or become.
I am the guide of how to get you through these unchartered waters to the shore of safety and well-being again. I help you to understand who/where you currently are and help you find ways to grow into who you want to be.... For some, this is feeling better inside, with less anxiety, depression or doubt, or having a sense of well-being and contentment. For others, the goal is having a satisfying relationship with a loved one or getting along better with a co-worker or boss. The possibilities are endless. Overall we learn new ways to live and love, as we learn, and grow.
